Created for those coping with war or disaster, Picking Up the Pieces (for adults) and Who Cares About Me? (for children) are tools to help trauma survivors talk about their feelings and experiences, and to offer comfort and hope in God.
Picking up the Pieces and Who cares about me? were specially designed to be translated and printed rapidly following a crisis. They have already been used with families affected by the terrorist attack in Beslan, and with survivors of the Asian tsunami.
Partner organisations including Light in the East and Gospel for Asia have used the booklets as part of a pastoral or counselling programme, giving support to those in need. A Gospel for Asia relief worker commented: "Those who have lost their loved ones in the tragedy are feeling the pain of loneliness more and more. Ministering to emotional needs is a priority now."
